Dwight Blalock was unjustly convicted of a crime he did not commit, a cold case murder from 2014. His trial was tainted with corruption and misconduct by those within Cobb County's judicial system who should protect justice, not distort it. The prosecution in his case held onto crucial discovery evidence until merely 12 days before the trial, leaving Dwight's defense team unable to prepare adequately. Every motion proposed by the defense was denied, demonstrating a clear bias in the judicial process.

Furthermore, it's shocking to learn that the Marietta Police Department allegedly paid an individual to provide a false statement against Dwight. This unethical maneuver is compounded by the prosecution’s manipulation of DNA evidence facts, where they imply guilt simply because Dwight had visited the crime location, a place he frequented long before the murder.

Such actions not only tarnish the credibility of the judicial system but also ruin lives. Dwight's life hangs in balance because of procedural sabotage and corrupt influences targeting innocent individuals to make names for themselves. It is imperative for us as a community to stand up against these injustices perpetrated by individuals like Jess Evans and Judge Robert Flournoy.
