Free Andre Fields, And Lets Make A Change To The Flawed Federal Criminal Justice System

The Issue

Andre Fields, an innocent man, has been wrongfully imprisoned for over five years in a federal prison, serving a 14-year sentence for crimes he did not commit. We are seeking your support in a nationwide petition to help set Andre Fields free and expose the misconduct and false charges that led to his unjust incarceration. The injustice he faces is a stain on our justice system, and it's time to bring him home to his family.

The False Charges:
In a shocking miscarriage of justice, federal prosecutors from the United States District Court of Maine in the 1st Circuit charged Andre Fields with crimes he never committed. They accused him of possessing One Kilogram of Heroin and 280 Grams of Cocaine Base. However, lab reports clearly demonstrate that he only had 3.1 grams in his possession, and those 3.1 grams contained no cocaine base as confirmed by the lab reports. This is an egregious error that cannot be overlooked - Andre Fields has been charged and sentenced based on false information.

The Unjust Conspiracy Charge:
Adding to the injustice, Andre Fields was charged with conspiracy despite the absence of any co-conspirators. Under federal conspiracy statutes, the essence of the crime is an agreement between two or more persons. If there is no agreement, there can be no conspiracy. How can Andre Fields be charged and sentenced on a conspiracy charge when there was no one else involved? This raises serious questions about the legitimacy of his conviction.

Seeking Answers:
We have taken steps to seek justice through the appropriate channels. We reached out to the Washington DC Department of Justice, Office of the Inspector General, Office of Professional Responsibility, and the Attorney General. We asked for an investigation into how federal prosecutors secured an indictment against Andre Fields and whether prosecutorial misconduct played a role in misleading the grand jury to charge him under 21 U.S.C. 846. Unfortunately, we have received little to no response from these agencies, leaving us with more questions than answers.

Our Fight for Justice:
We believe that 14 years is an excessive sentence for a mere 3 grams of a substance, especially when those grams did not contain any cocaine base as claimed. We are determined to shed light on the corrupt and systemically flawed federal justice system that has allowed an innocent man to languish in prison.

Join our nationwide petition to demand justice for Andre Fields. Help us expose the misconduct and false charges that led to his wrongful imprisonment. Stand with us in the fight to bring Andre home to his family, where he rightfully belongs.

Together, we can make a difference and ensure that no one else falls victim to such a grave miscarriage of justice. Sign this petition, share it widely, and let's make our voices heard until Andre Fields is finally set free. #JusticeForAndreFields
