How juveniles/Children are affected by incarceration. How we as adults treat children is very important. For instance, the lack of maturity in the children also an Un development sense of responsibility. Children are more likely to be very vulnerable or susceptible to negative influences and the outside peer pressure. The Judicial System knows this they know that a child should never be charged with first degree murder, only an adult. But the Juvenile courts was authorized to transfer our young men/women our babies to be sent to criminal court trailed as an ADULT. How can we continue to sit back and allow this to go on. Thats not helping our children become better MEN or WOMEN in this world it is honestly making it worse. Why? Because you have people who kill for a living just for the thrill. You have people who rape people just to feel the overpower they have over another human.  You have robbers who rob/steal just because they can. We can't send our juveniles to prison it is not right. Yes, they did wrong, however, if they were your VERY OWN Child. We could change places with all the higher courts and Government then, I would be willing that they would be asking the same plead. What is it? FREE ALL THE JUVENILE LIFERS. Prison is not a solution for JUVENILE REHABILITATION. Just look at our prisons they are poorly ran and overpopulated. Imagin your Child calling home saying he just got stabbed! Imagin your child calling home saying he had been raped by another man or robber for the food/clothes just had just bought him. No mother or father wants to hear those words. So why not let's Consider these things that are happening to our children. Prison is not for a child nor to trail a child as an ADULT. Juveniles should be given the opportunity to attend BOOT CAMP until 18 years old then Military until 25 years of age. That way rehabilitation is guaranteed to be given. There are currently 200 juveniles' serving a life sentence in the state of Tennessee now. If Cynthia Brown can prove that she has been rehabilitated after 16 years of a life sentence to being released, then why can't all the JUVENILES with a life sentence be looked into about a eligibility to being released early. Then all the future Juveniles need to be given Boot camp and Military school. The Courts stated that juveniles are "LESS" deserving of the most server punishment's because they are less capable. So WHY are we still sending THE JUVENILE"S to prison? The Court's went from Juvenile 60-year life sentence and had to serve 51 before eligible for parole if even considered. Now it's Life sentence at 25 Years before eligible for parole. There are juvenile's that have been incarcerated 15years with no parole date also juvenile's incarcerated 25 plus years with no parole date. The Government should have stated releasing juveniles with life sentences when releasing Cynthia Brown also when it was rendered that the Juvenile Lifers Eight Amendment was violated. The State of Tennessee Juvenile Life Sentence is automatically imposed on being the hardest punishment. The state of Alabama juveniles with life sentence are eligible for parole after serving 15 years of their sentence. Then Cynthia Brown was released after 16 years please let's be fair to all the JUVENILE LIFERS. Cynthia Browns release should have been retroactive for all Juveniles. I understand she was a young lady who went through a lot in her childhood. I'm a woman I've been there also however we are treating young men and showing them, we could care less about them being released. Thats not right because we were once their age, however, some of us never got caught we were saved by the grace of God and given a second chance. And that's something these young men deserve. Some of the young men are fathers and some don't have children. Some have lost family members and the families that took care of them. WE PLEAD for the Governor BILL LEE to make a EXECUTIVE ORDER. WE ARE PLEADING to President Joe Biden to make a EXECUTIVE ORDER TO FREE ALL THE JUVENILE LIFERS. They DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE.
