Help Preserve South Middlebush Scenic Corridor

The Franklin Zoning Board will hold an in-person hearing tomorrow, Thursday, April 7, 2022 starting at 7:30 pm at Franklin Municipal Building (475 DeMott Lane) for Sai Datta Mandir, the place of worship planned to be built at 583 S. Middlebush Rd. The first house of worship, Dada Bhagwan Institute, at 630 S. Middlebush Rd, has already been recently approved by Zoning Board. Both these houses of worship will be in an AGRICULTURAL zone, meaning that they will be taking away land that was originally intended to be used for farming! So not only will these result in loss of open space and decimation of forested ecosystem with its multitude of indigenous wildlife species, they will also jeopardize Franklin’s potential farmland and food supply!
