(This petition has been UPDATED as of November 2025 -  please see update below) We the undersigned are opposed to the construction of 21,000 sq ft building structures, parking lots, lighting, signage by Dada Bhagwan Nignan Institute and Sai Datta Mandir, Inc on South Middlebush Rd near Snyders' Farm. UPDATE as of November 2025: Recently the Hindu Temple,  Dada Bhagwan Nignan Institute sold their property at 630 S. Middlebush Rd. to the Mosque, Tawheed Dawah Center which plans to build their own 19,350 sq ft place of worship and is requesting “relief of condition,” which means they are requesting permission to hold prayer services 5 times per day, 7 days per week. This is an environmentally sensitive area that is located in a township scenic corridor.  The construction of the complex will result in the decimation of a forested ecosystem comprised of mature shade trees which house a multitude of indigenous wildlife species including endangered birds. It will have a negative environmental impact on the surrounding area due to increased storm-water runoff and ground pollutants.  It also creates a safety hazard from vehicles entering and exiting the complex from fast moving heavily travelled two lane South Middlebush Rd. This plan violates the scenic corridor ordinance which was adopted by Franklin Township for this area.
