Help Preserve South Middlebush Scenic Corridor

Why is the Franklin Town Council having a meeting tonight to consider reneging on their promise to go back to in-person meetings, when the Somerset County Commissioners have ALREADY announced they are having their own in-person meeting tonight? (their announcement posted below) Is it because our Town Council is afraid of looking into the eyes of Franklin residents? Why don't they want to meet face-to-face with us?
Please voice your concerns by attending the Franklin Town Council Virtual Meeting scheduled for today (Tuesday, July 27, 2021 starting at 7:00 pm. It’s very easy to participate, you don’t need WebEx, just call in on your cell phone and hit *3 keys to “raise your hand” to speak, and at town Council meetings they now hold public portion at beginning of each meeting , so you don’t have to wait long to speak.
