Time for a mid-summer update on what projects "The Glades" actors are involved with. Topping this list is Michelle Hurd, our favorite FDLE Regional Director, who recently joined the cast of "Blindspot" on NBC. With such a breadth of experience dating back to 1991, Michelle will no doubt bring a great deal of class and style to NBC, and I will certainly become a viewer. Please take the time to congratulate her on her official Twitter account, @ItsMichelleHurd. "Blindspot" season premiere is set for September 14th on NBC. Kiele Sanchez, who plays Lisa Prince on "Kingdom", shared her very personal experience of a late-term miscarriage with fans by playing the same out on her show. In an article on Vulture.com, Kiele shares her toughest days on set and how she came to the decision to share with her fans. You can read the article at http://www.vulture.com/2016/05/kiele-sanchez-describes-her-toughest-day-on-set.html. DirecTV/AT&T confirms the Season 3 renewal of "Kingdom" on Audience channel. Uriah Shelton recently completed taping season 3 of "Girl Meets World" as recurring character, "Josh Matthews". The internet is buzzing with the revelation that the Season 3 finale will include a complete reunion of the "Boy Meets World" cast. Uriah posted a cast picture on his Instagram account stating he will miss everyone. Although Disney has not yet confirmed either way, there are rumors of a cancellation, much to the dismay of fans. Whether "Girl Meets World" is renewed and Uriah continues his role, or whether it is canceled, one thing is for certain. He has got a bright future and simply being cast along side such beloved characters is certainly noteworthy and for which he should certainly be proud of. On a side note, Uriah also posted a picture of him in the hospital stating they would be taking out the titanium rod most likely put in after his motorcycle accident last year. We certainly wish him the best in his recovery. Clifton Campbell continues as show runner for "Sleepy Hollow" set to premiere in Spring 2017 on Fox TV. I know that I'm very intrigued by the direction of the show and look forward to watching the end results of Mr. Campbell's leadership. The show has been through some tough times and certainly drew the ire of fans, but I believe if there is anyone that can be trusted with taking the show on a new, exciting, and successful journey, it's certainly Mr. Campbell. One tweet of note from him, he did indicate all would be told one day for "The Glades". That they would finish the story. Certainly some exciting news to all of us waiting patiently. I have no doubt he will keep his word on this. Matt Passmore will be a guest star in an episode of Showtime's "Roadies" as Taylor Swift's road manager. Carlos Gomez is taking a well-deserved break after a fast paced schedule from movies, to TV, to theater, and Jordan Wall recently finished up a theater run in LA. That's all I have for now. As always, you can follow me on Twitter @TheGladesAddict for instant updates on the cast.
