Quite a bit has been going on with some of the cast members recently, so I wanted to provide an update. Carlos Gomez, the amazing medical examiner from “The Glades” tops this list for being the busiest it seems. With recent successes from films like, “Ride Along 2” topping the box office charts, to filming in Cuba, Carlos has also recently announced roles on “Madam Secretary”, and is currently filming “Ripped”. On his official Twitter account (@ItsCarlosGomez), he mentions shooting in Cuba for a Showtime series, “House of Lies”. We look forward to seeing him continue his work to portray Latinos in positive roles.
For the other cast members, it seems to be their continuing work on current series:
Matt Passmore - Continues as lead on USA Network’s, “Satisfaction” as well as an upcoming independent film entitled, “Is That a Gun In Your Pocket”.
Kiele Sanchez - The second season of “Kingdom” recently completed airing on Audience for DirecTV and another 10 episodes are already on order.
Michelle Hurd - With a few episodes of “Hawaii Five-0” under her belt, she has continued with some other films entitled, “Within The Dark”, and “We Don’t Belong Here”. Both show to be completed, but not yet released. She can be seen on the February 12th episode of “Hawaii Five-0” in her recurring role as Renee Grover.
Uriah Shelton - After recovering from a motorcycle accident, Uriah is once again working on new projects including a music video for a group called “Facing West”, and recently announced on his official Twitter account (@UriahShelton) he will have new music of his own out soon. No release date has been announced for his lead role in “Warrior’s Gate”. Oh, and we should also mention his beloved Alabama won the National Championship.
Clifton Campbell - Mr. Campbell continues his excellent work on “Sleepy Hollow” set for a winter premiere on February 5th at 8 PM ET on Fox Networks.
That’s all the updates I have for now, but continue to watch for more immediate information on my Twitter account @thegladesaddict. We continue to hope for “The Glades” to return, but until then, let’s continue to support the cast and crew as they work on other projects.
