Formulate a Safe and Effective Dramamine for Infants and Toddlers
The Issue
As someone who has seen on numerous occasions, infants and toddlers experiencing severe discomfort due to motion sickness, I truly believe we need a solution. It breaks my heart to see the youngest ones amongst us suffer, unable to take Dramamine because they simply are too young.
This crisis brings me to a simple question: if pharmaceutical companies can adapt medications like Tylenol for infants and toddlers, why can't Dramamine be made suitable for them too? With Tylenol's infant variant and even liquid Mucinex in the market, it shows adjustments can be made. It's time we demand an equivalent formula for Dramamine safe for our little ones' use and provide relief from their distress.
In the U.S. alone, about 1 in 3 people are prone to motion sickness, even in mild circumstances, as per the information from the National Institutes of Health. The condition is so prevalent among children aged 2-12, who are at the peak age for motion sickness. Thus, the need for a child-friendly version of Dramamine becomes increasingly significant (National Institutes of Health).
These pharmaceutical giants must realize they have a role to play in mitigating the suffering of our young ones due to motion sickness. Children should be able to enjoy simple pleasures of life, such as family road trips without the fear of impending discomfort or sickness. A formula of Dramamine designed for infants and toddlers can provide that.
I urge you to sign this petition and join me in a push for a Dramamine formula for infants and toddlers. Because no child should have to suffer when there is a possibility of a solution.
