Mark Twain National Forest Palmer area near Potosi Mo has been a go to location when it comes to locals jeep, sxs, horse, and bicycle riding and enjoying the outdoors. There's even road rally races through this area. Which tear up roads worse then the locals and leaves more trash then any thing else but when brought up county says it's tax revenue and business  But apparently it's not seen all the other outdoorsman and women who go through the local towns to go out there who stop and get all needed supplies to enjoy a weekend.   Here recently trails and side roads have been blocked off with threats of cameras and other repercussions if passed through barriers. Now  we understand that trash is left on trails and trees are damaged and ground is tore up BUT instead of punishing local outdoorsman let's work a deal. Currently most of this location is being logged. Now we understand trees grow back but at the same time clear cuts are being done tree tops are being left and ground is being tore up with equipment. With this petition give us a right to ride and enjoy and help clean up what logging has messed up and clean trash up that others have left. Most of our local groups do this anyway (but is not seen)  Punish those who trash not those who enjoy and take care of the area while having fun our selfs. My personal family owned most of out there in the past and would be ashamed of forestry and others  for not letting us enjoy the outdoors. Helps us get a local riding spot back before its gone for good. If you sign this and ride this area please put your trash in a bag if you see trash pick it up  use straps if winching. Keep your autos  out of the creek  Be respectful and out of Towner's please treat this area like areas close to you.
