I’m sure many of us have heard of the humanitarian crisis in Palestine that is currently happening, however for those who haven’t, here is a quick summary:

When Israel was given the land of Palestine by powerful European nations after World War II, fighting broke out between the Palestinian people and the Israeli people. Many Palestinians were displaced, killed, and driven out of their homes. Similar things happened to Israeli people, however Israel ended up “winning” these fights. This event is referred to as the catastrophe, or the Nakba. Unfortunately, the Nakba is ongoing, and Israel continues to have a disturbing advantage. Israel is bombing hundreds of Palestinian homes every day, the Palestinian people have been moved from place to place, only to get bombed repeatedly. Almost all the hospitals in Palestine have been demolished and most of their schools have as well. Tens of thousands of innocent children, women, men, elders, doctors, journalists and many more have been brutally slaughtered by the Israeli government. Many Palestinians with phones have been posting videos of bombs going off in their neighborhoods, Israeli soldiers have posted photos of themselves posing in front of piles of rubble that used to be home to Palestinian citizens. Israel is and has been committing a genocide against the Palestinian people, and the U.S. government has supported it since it started. 
The American government has been sending money, weapons, and other aid to Israel since the most recent genocide began back in late 2023. Protesters in America are being arrested, assaulted and man-handled for participating in peaceful encampments. The U.S. claims to be a democracy, but we vote no on all aid to Israel. Ceasefire now and forever!
