Here is the email I sent to the City and the media today:
Hello,
I sent an email to the City Attorney's office on April 4th 2016. This was over a month before the City Council voted to approve the land swap. Here is a quote from that email:
“The City recently received the results of appraisals for the land in question. In the appraisal of the land on which the Barr Trail and part of the Incline sit, were all liabilities considered? Specifically, what was the estimated cost of the repairs or replacement of the fence on that section of the Barr Trail, the repairs of the drainage issues, and the erosion damage on that hillside?”
Does this mean that the City Attorney read my email and certified that the appraisal submitted by the Broadmoor was not flawed?
I am asking that the Mayor, a member of the City Council, or the City Attorney tell us now:
What is the estimated cost of the necessary repairs on the section of the Barr Trail that the City acquired in the land swap?
Have any City Officials received any form of communication from the District Attorney's Office which have expressed a need for the City to reverse the land swap?
Thank you, Carl Strow
