Next year, 2025, is the 40th anniversary of the video game Super Mario Bros., probably THE most important game starring our favorite plumber, Mario. We all have followed him and his friends throughout the years since. That said, I ask very respectfully, for Nintendo to do something for the inevitable 40th anniversary celebration, which I’m very sure most have probably wanted for a REALLY long time since the 1985 game: Mario and his lover, Princess Peach, finally coming together and tying and the knot!

I know, the status quo will be irreversibly changed, but I’m sure everyone will welcome it with open arms. Besides, it’s not like them marrying would change ABSOLUTELY everything and be the end of all things. It’s just another part of the journey, not the goal. They can still have new adventures, and kart races, and Mario Parties, and whatnot. All we would need is a big celebration, followed by a ring on both their fingers.

So please, I’m again asking respectfully, Nintendo. For the inevitable Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary celebration, get these two hitched. They more than deserve it.
