Extend Income Tax Return filing deadline to 31 August 2019

Extend Income Tax Return filing deadline to 31 August 2019

The income tax department has changed format for filing TDS statement for salaried and the date was extended till 10 July 2019. Many Salaried have not yet received Form 16 and TDS is not reflected in 26AS statements. This should be sufficient reason to extend Income Tax Returns filing deadline from 31 July to 31 august.
The utilities of Income Tax department has errors and kept constantly changing. The latest changes and update where made on 11 July 2019. Considering various court judgement to release utilities on first week of April, department has fail to do that. This is second reason to extend filing returns deadline from 31 July to 31 august.
On 9 July Shri Anurag Singh Thakur MOS finance and Corporate Affairs, stated that there is no representation so at present No proposal for extension of return filing due date is under consideration
Lets all sign the petition and represent FM Nirmala Sitharaman and MOS Anurag Singh Thakur, so that due date is extended and return filing is easy for millions of tax payers.
Further please issue the notification before 15th July, so that it is meaningful and people can plan properly, rather than extending due date in last minute which will cause people filing returns with error to avoid penalty
