Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called for a 5-month gas tax moratorium, which would reduce the price of gas by approximately $.27 per gallon. The Florida Legislature decided to do a one-month gas tax moratorium that doesn't go into effect until October 2022.

The Ryan Gorman Show believes the legislature's plan is a slap in the face to hard-working Floridians struggling under the pressure of record-high gas prices RIGHT NOW. We're calling on lawmakers to, at the very least, move the gas tax holiday up so it helps alleviate some of the pain at the pump immediately.
