Recent changes have restricted early access to Little Talbot island State Park. For the last 30+ years park management has allowed biking in early before the gate opens at 8am. This allows visiters to witness the beauty of early moring sunrises and to enjoy the park before 9am to 5pm work schedules.

     I am not fully aware of what the issues or challenges are and how they relate to the recent decision to issue trespassing tickets to anyone who biked in early and revoke the privilege all together but  other parks such as Fort Clinch and Anastasia allow season pass holders early entry. Limiting early access to season pass holders at Talbot doesn't make sense from a consistency standpoint. I understand park attendance is up 400% the last two years so it seems there should be extra funds to staff the gate from 6am to 8am or install a combination gate for annual pass holders like other local parks.

Please work out some type of reconsideration or solution for early entry to allow citizens to continue to enjoy the beauty of the sunrises of Little Talbot Island like it has always been and the way it is at other State Parks in the area.
