On 7/23/24 www.insuranceagentverify.com was shared with and given access to Citizens management to review for consideration to assist insurance agents who wish to convey their ability to access authorized insurers through brokers they hold appointments with. Additionally, the "Florida Insurance Agent Appointment Verification" form was shared with Citizens for consideration. We have not yet received any response from Citizens. 

On 8/5/24 Citizens management was provided info on yet another authorized insurer who is failing to record agent appointments with the FLDFS. Citizens was asked "What is Citizens doing about this to help agents in need who have multiple carrier appointments not recorded with the FLDFS?" Citizens wants to see the appointments recorded with the FLDFS however that is not possible if the insurer fails to record the appointment. We ask Citizens accept proof of the agent appointment to write or renew policies as evidence agent is in compliance with the law, if the appointment is not recorded with the FLDFS. We have not yet received any response from Citizens.
