Heather Meadows, a 29 year old mother of 2 from Bluefield WV, underwent a cosmetic procedure in Hialeah FL at Encore Plastic Surgery that ultimately took her life due to fat embolism, meaning fat transfers were injected into her bloodstream and blocked an artery during the surgery. According to other licensed and board certified plastic surgeons, this is HIGHLY unlikely to happen under the skillful hand of a highly trained Doctor. This young woman was a wonderful mother, daughter, sibling and friend, just like all the others harmed in any way by these 3 clinics. Since this incident, several woman have stepped forward sharing their horror stories endured at the hands of the "doctors" at the listed plastics clinics. It has been said that at one point, they were having women recover in horse stables. However, our ultimate goal is that we get Encore Plastic Surgery, Vanity Cosmetic Surgery, and Spectrum-Aesthetics Center closed. These 3 clinics have harmed far too many women; 2 lives lost and a list of women injured.
