I would like to bring your attention to the absolute devastation Tampa Bay is undergoing due to this Red Tide. Collectively speaking the Inshore Charter Captains, citizens, and recreational anglers that call the Tampa Bay area home would like to call for the immediate re-closure of harvest to redfish, snook, and trout in Tampa Bay. We have all witnessed the widespread devastation this unprecedented Red Tide has left in its path and we as a body would like for you to close Tampa Bay down for recreational and commercial harvest indefinitely until a proper reassessment merits a reopening. 

  Thank you for your diligence on this matter. We love our home waters and are deeply saddened by the state of the fishery.
