Good morning,

Thank you again to everyone who signed, shared, commented on the petition. As you know, Florida is facing worrisome COVID-19 numbers. 

The Florida Board of Optometry is meeting in a few days. Many practitioners have petitioned the board individually to obtain a waiver on the continuing education rule.

A copy of our petition is in the public book. We trust that the topic will be addressed.

This is especially important at a time when all serious meetings are cancelled. (NOVA conference, Vision Expo West...)

The decision makers will get updated numbers if we go past 2500 signatures, we are almost there.
