The Florida Board of Optometry discussed the issue during several meetings. They recognized the unique nature of the situation and agreed to issue an emergency rule authorizing live, synchronous continuing education lectures to satisfy CE requirements. Thank you to all of you who took the time to sign that petition and make that change happen.
