Janet and I never imagined we would receive this much support and we certainly never suspected the degree of antipathy that so many people appear to have towards Flatirons Community Church. Moreover, most of the comments are clearly from Christian believers and not, as one might have expected, Christian haters. It appears that our plight may have become a sort of catalyst or focus for people who want to bring an end to what Flatirons and other similar churches represent. It remains to be seen if that will be the case and we do not, of course, know how our battle with the church will end. All we are really hoping for now from this petition is that it will continue to gather momentum and bring encouragement to all those people who, like ourselves, did not realize the strength and the depth of the opposition to what Flatirons and its fellow travelers represent.
