Hi everybody, if you've been following my PSA about TikTok’s recent slew of LIVE access bans, you already know I am not the only Colortok account dealing with TikTok’s new violation process. I counted probably over 15 comments from people saying they got the same ban until November, and that is insane. 

The lack of transparency from TikTok is beyond frustrating and discouraging. I opened two support tickets, tried to appeal four times, and saw for myself how broken this process is.

TikTok Support has been nothing but short with me. The violation remains unclear. All I have gotten back are scripted responses instead of a real explanation. That means creators are being punished without transparency, without a functioning review, and without a real chance to avoid the same issue happening again.

TikTok needs to fix this now. I am calling on TikTok to make every live ban come with a clear explanation, repair the in-app appeal function so submissions actually go into review, allow creators to write a full explanation during appeals, and provide human review when multiple accounts are hit by the same issue. If support tickets are part of the process, then support needs the authority to investigate and correct obvious system failures instead of repeating that the verdict is final.

Creators should not lose live access because a broken system will not explain itself or process appeals correctly. If this has happened to you, or if you care about fair treatment for creators, please sign and help push TikTok to fix its live appeal process for real.
