The issue

To: Hon Michelle Rowland MP, Hon Robyn Anne PRESTON, MP (Member for Hawkesbury), Hon. Mr Warren Kirby MP (Member for Riverstone) and  Hon. John Graham MLC (NSW Minister for Transport).
We, the residents of Box Hill and The Gables, are calling on the NSW Government and Transport for NSW to urgently fix the critical shortage of public transport servicing our communities.
The current Route 740 bus service is completely failing our rapidly growing suburbs.
During peak morning and evening commuting hours, residents are facing a daily transit crisis. Because Route 740 is the primary connector for both major estates, buses are routinely packed to maximum capacity. Commuters are forced into severe overcrowding conditions, and many are regularly left stranded on the side of the road because buses are too full to board.
