As a born and bred Victorian, I have watched our roads slowly disintegrate, not only are we all paying high vehicle registration fees, taxs, tolls and land rates we are paying through the roof for fuel that the government gain profit from.

All while we are constantly maintaining our vehicles suspension and repairing damage from the very poor state of the roads. We are expected to have a safe roadworthy vehicle in Victoria yet our roads are far from safe, reliable and car worthy. 

"Without trucks, Australia stops" well Australian Government without safe roads trucks stop. 

Road accidents have significantly increased, fatalities increased it does not take a genius to put 2 and 2 together.  

Emergency workers and tow truck drivers struggling to close their eyes at night from seeing horrific car accidents. 

Why are we as Australian's living in a first world country but are being FORCED to drive on third world country roads? 

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Stop putting up "rough surface signs" and actually start repairing our disgraceful roads.
