while me and many other pinterest users love the app, we often find it irritating to use due to insufficiently helpful updates. here are some updates i’ve discussed with my friends on how we can fix pinterest/significantly improve it:

• custom themes (instead of only the options of light and dark mode, you could select from a color picker or variety or pretty color options. album themes could also be an option (ex. 1989 taylor’s version)
• sections within board sections
• removing the heart button (next to where you type messages)
• story highlights
• pinterest reels
• naming group chats
• nicknaming accounts
• plus button that lets you use any emoji for reactions (to messages)
• pinterest wrapped (with number of saves, how many pins you posted that year, board that you saved the most pins to, etc.)
• remove whatever is hiding everyone’s pins
• a search bar in your following so that you can search up certain people
