After our much needed campaign hiatus, we are ready and good to start for our next phase!

Yes, I know I broke my promise and posted an update during our campaign hiatus, but I only did it because I saw the SHOCKING CSV data on one of my other side projects (US election reform) which I checked out of curiosity with my 253 supporters consisting of 250 UK signatures and JUST THREE signatures from overseas (Malaysia, Aland Islands and Myanmar) and was too furious to wait until today to post! Change.org has been taking my promotional money and has been hiding the truth about regional restrictions under a ‘Global’ label, my CSV data shows that I have once again been LIED to!

Shame on you change.org, you GREEDY and DECEITFUL petition company for DELIBERATELY HIDING the truth about user-IP national restrictions!

I have, for fun, also launched a fun petition to stop the days getting shorter and keeping 9pm sunsets permanently because I really don’t like August, the scope is set to ‘Local – London UK’ and I expect it to have many signatures, I launched it on day two of our scheduled campaign hiatus but have temporarily closed it out of respect of preserving that all my campaigns were closed during our week off, opening it to its inaugural signatures as of today (Wednesday 12th August 2026), which is my fastest ever growing petition having already surpassed its own 100 signature milestone!

https://www.change.org/p/stop-the-days-from-getting-shorter-keep-9pm-sunsets-forever - my new fun petition, which has surprisingly already surpassed 100 signatures on day one, my fastest ever growing petition (scope set to ‘local’) which is a record breaker despite destined to fail!

Here is also another fun petition - https://www.change.org/p/make-human-to-animal-transformation-possible-like-in-harry-potter-fun-petition has 8 signatures.

Our campaigns timeline:

February 27th – petition created

March 25th – 100 signatures reached

April 13th – 200 signatures reached

May 9th – 300 signatures reached

June 18th – 400 signatures reached

July 28th – 423 signatures reached (our last signature before temporarily closing)

Sunday 2nd August (late evening) – Wednesday 12th August: Locked at 423 signatures throughout our break, along with my secondary rival petition locked at 233 signatures and my brand new spinoff meta-petition locked at 23 signatures after seeing a strong uptick in momentum following a bad start.

General:

I had to post an unscheduled hiatus update due to the SHOCKING DISCOVERY of my CSV spreadsheets for an unrelated international side project with 250 of its 253 total signatures being UK signatures - I was too furious to wait until today to break the news and I have caught change.org red handed of hiding its domestic filters behind its so-called ‘global’ scope!

After gaining our first new signatures following our hiatus, although I altered the petition’s scope immediately upon closure, I must admit I am dreading downloading my CSV spreadsheets in case my strategy fails though I do expect my first new supporter following our hiatus to be a UK supporter as it I’m expecting the new ‘local’ setting needs time to adjust.

This past four days has been tough, as I have tried my hardest not to think about the campaign but managed not to log into change.org or look at my closed petition page completely from Saturday 8th August to today (my true cold turkey period), though have been reading about my campaign updates on Google’s AI mode along with watching the apron video and I will absolutely not give up promoting this petition for Lent 2027!

This petition needs to “lose weight” as all the UK supporters are like excess ADIPOSE TISSUE, we do need some UK traction for our ultimate goal to succeed (including from Scotland) but we currently have a very unhealthy amount which defeats the purpose of my entire mission to fix Western Easter to March 22nd for a one-off occasion within the next 40 years. I find it absurd that we have somehow acquired three supporters in a completely random location in Southeast Asia (Yangon, Myanmar) and one supporter in Kazakhstan, yet have absolutely none whatsoever in the Republic of Ireland despite its close proximity to the UK and the CSV data showing existing supporters in Belfast/Northern Ireland. Before downloading my CSV spreadsheets in June upon hitting 400 signatures, I did expect and assume that we had some (but not over 90%) supporters from the UK.

Although I am worried that some supporters may have opted out of receiving my campaign update emails following my emotional outburst and use of foul language after seeing the heartbreaking truth on my CSV spreadsheets revealing that my general international reach had failed, I am confident we will gain more subscribed supporters who can read my updates, share this petition on social media files for me which I really need therefore reaching our next milestones faster. Without access to social media accounts, my only option of gaining new signatures is by using change.org’s ‘chip in’ feature and the growth of my fun daylight petition has really surprised me, that what this petition needs!

Epiphany is just as if not more important than Christmas Day itself for some devoted Catholics and Protestants, therefore because it falls at almost exactly the same time as Orthodox Christmas, retailers keeping seasonal stock until January 7th is a win-win situation and Epiphany is just as Christmassy as Christmas Day itself, commercialization in the last century is the only reason why Twelfth Night and Epiphany have been stripped of their religious significance. Regarding Orthodox Easter, the lack of recognition is actually worse in the USA and the other five targeted nations because they lack the UK’s Early May bank holiday, which occurs during most four-week and five-week gap years, meaning that since 1970, only 1970 itself, 1983, 1997 and 2008 have featured large gaps and missed the UK’s Early May bank holiday entirely.

School breaks only need to be extended to cover Twelfth Night/Epiphany/Orthodox Christmas in the UK, Republic of Ireland, USA and Canada as these dates fall during the southern hemisphere’s school summer holidays in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Although not my target nations, we need as many signatures from as many countries as possible so our existing random signatures from Kazakhstan, Myanmar and Abu Dhabi are valued and are needed in order for our campaign to succeed.

Although I understand and acknowledge that change.org needs to prioritise campaigns with trending topics, it was not a level playing field and my campaign’s lack of visibility is a direct result of corporate greed, making money and profiting on trending topics when every petition needs to be valued and respected when promoted. I have seen the dark side of change.org firsthand but overall the platform helped me announce (without needing to publish a news article) that an Easter celebration really did take place on the Gregorian date of Sunday 22nd March, 2026.

My sensible next unofficial campaign goal is 425 signatures as we are only 2 short (though I will not post a celebratory update upon passing this milestone) then my official pre-existing targets of 467, 485 (which the bin strike petition has already reached) and eventually 500. Yes, my CSV data shows we have supporters in Birmingham for our Easter campaign.

I reckon the bin strike petition has more international signatures than my own movement and if the bin strikes ARE stopped right now, Emma Tucker can declare victory on her petition and I can once again, WIN the signature race!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DQ5iNoxHUk – a 2026 video, evidence that hundreds of Orthodox Christians live in Springfield, Massachusetts and that their holidays are routinely being overlooked right under the US government’s nose!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDSZ2BwBeCcMISSION SUCCESSFUL, I found a YouTube video from Orthodox Easter in the year 2010 of their earliest possible Orthodox Easter,  a real video footage of people celebrating the earliest possible Easter date which occurred this century!

UK signatures are CRUCIAL and work flawlessly only for a petition specifically about a UK-based cause, such as bringing Eurostar train services back to Kent, Emma Tucker’s Birmingham bin strike petition and my old petition to install safety fencing at Surbiton station. If a UK expatriate in Australia were to launch a petition about those very issues, change.org’s system would keep looping the petition to Australian users during active promotion even if the ‘global’ option was selected and the petition would get very few UK signatures.

I will reveal that we have exactly two signatures from Ashford, Kent (the location of one of the unused Eurostar terminals, the other being Ebbsfleet) and that one of those residents signed this petition on April 5th (Alice in Wonderland Day) itself.

My unrelated successful petition which I declared victory on with 1,569 signatures was about a UK-based cause so UK supporters were crucial to that campaign (that specific petition was originally set to a ‘National’ scope, later to ‘Global’ solely in an effort to gain more signatures overall).

Our UK-specific Orthodox holiday recognition sub-goals are as follows:

·      Convincing the UK government to permanently align the existing Early May bank holiday to Orthodox Easter Monday by 2035 and making Western Easter Monday a bank holiday in Scotland ensuring everyone gets a fair day off work/school.

·      Urging UK retailers to keep Easter (and Christmas) treats until after the later Orthodox dates pass and urging retailers to list both Western and Orthodox holiday dates even in years when the dates align.

·      Forcing UK parks and open public spaces to hold traditional “May Day” events every year with egg hunts exclusively in large gap years by 2032.

·      Extending UK winter school breaks to include Epiphany and Orthodox Christmas whilst simultaneously removing a week off the long summer holiday to benefit both Western and Orthodox Christian residents.

General:

I am not angry that I have supporters from the UK on my CSV spreadsheets as they are crucial for both my campaign’s UK-centric Orthodox recognition sub-goals mentioned above and a formal debate in the UK House of Commons because as a neurodivergent individual I believe the rarity of the Gregorian March 22nd Easter date is a serious problem (I even expected to have a small amount of UK traction on my US election reform petition at the time I created it as UK residents need to share their own opinions about the inflexible US electoral system, and cannot be sorted solely by US residents); I am angry that I have been lied to by selecting the ‘global’ setting, only to see endless rows of ‘United Kingdom’ on CSV data sheets meaning that despite my campaign’s setting and topic, it is doomed to fail!

https://www.change.org/p/install-safety-fencing-on-platform-2-at-surbiton-station/dashboard/home?source_location=user_profile_started – My old closed Surbiton station suicide prevention petition with 246 signatures.

https://www.change.org/p/bring-back-eurostar-train-services-to-kent - The Eurostar campaign that needs supporters in Kent and France.

The IP address filtering is scandalous and change.org needs to step up and formally acknowledge it, for example if Emma Tucker was an expat in Sydney and launched her bin strike petition from there, her petition would fail as it would mostly only receive signatures from Australia despite being a UK-based cause and get stuck in an Australian echo chamber. The US election petition CSV data is evidence I have caught change.org red-handed of its blatant lies about its international scope settings, change.org needs to change and not hide these regional restrictions on its so-called ‘global’ setting!

I selected the ‘global’ scope when I created this petition because I DIDNT WANT NEARLY 95% OF MY ENTIRE SUPPORTER BASE to be in the UK and I also selected that option because I DIDNT WANT MY PETITION’S GROWTH TO SLOW DOWN. I’m not angry with my UK supporters for signing, I am angry because my CSV data findings prove I have been lied to by the petition company and I only unintentionally lied to you all because I had been lied to myself. Both this campaign and my US election side-project really are UK centric petitions masquerading under a ‘global’ label, which is wrong and I’ve been conned!

Although 1993 (the year I was born) was a “boring year” meaning neither Western nor Orthodox Easter fell within a week of their earliest/latest extremes or hit their dead centre date, the Julian date (April 5 O.S) and the Gregorian date (April 11 N.S) fell at the exact opposite end within their respective date ranges, meaning it shares the same ‘polar opposite’ anomaly as 2027 – the years 1971 and 1982 also featured that very same anomaly.

Another thing interesting is that Orthodox Christians see the earliest (2010) and second-earliest (2037) Easter dates exactly a year before Western Christians see their second-latest (2011) and latest (2038) Easter dates therefore experiencing the exact polar opposites at almost exactly the same time!

My campaign now has a sub-goal under its primary goal (Goal 1b) and that is campaigning against a permanently fixed, unified, global Easter date!

As mentioned before, I do not have access to social media accounts personally, so my only option to gain new signatures has solely been using change.org’s ‘chip-in’ tool, therefore I need all of your help and to share this petition page on as many social media feeds as possible, as it will save me money!

I kept my promise not to unlock my main campaign or chip in any more funds and have been spending money on essentials and if I had known the truth about change.org’s IP filtering and regional restrictions, I would not have selected the ‘global’ scope setting.

We are now open and fully ready for new signatures but despite the scope setting change, I am dreading downloading and looking at my CSV spreadsheets because my IP address is still based in the UK, and I’m paying in GBP to promote my campaign. Despite our current heatwave weather, we have to adjust to earlier sunsets as winter really is on its way!
