BROKEN MY PROMISE, oops, unscheduled hiatus update!

Folks,

Although I have broken my promise not to post any updates until our scheduled reopening day on Wednesday 12th, August. I am absolutely outraged to see the CSV file from one of my side projects so the Easter date campaign is absolutely NOT the first time I have caught out with the so-called false ‘Global’ scope setting.

Although not a petition I am currently working on and promoting at the moment, I created this petition from 2024 with the direct link here about reforming the election system in the USA, it has a total for 250 signatures from the UK and JUST THREE international signatures (Malaysia, Aland Islands and Myanmar), and NOT ONE from my target country, the USA. That’s 99% of ALL signatures concentrated in the UK and is absolutely disgraceful, change.org should be ashamed of itself for GREED AND DECEIT!

change.org deliberately targets and discriminates users based on their IP address, shame on you change.org, you greedy petition company!

This is yet another example of a petition failing to reach my target nation and yes, because change.org is being dishonest and hiding the truth about regional restrictions when campaigners set-up their petitions, these petitions are DOOMED TO FAIL and not reach their goals. Therefore, change.org’s unfair regional restrictions make it impossible for some campaigns to reach their goals!

change.org has been prioritising other topics, which I understand, but overall the way this campaign was hidden during my promotion this last month was not a level playing field because change.org has been PROFITING from getting people to sign other viral campaigns while mine was stuck at the back of the visibility queue, all petitions should deserve equal recognition when promoted to other users.

I know I have broken my own promise, but was so outraged by the CSV data from this petition I couldn't help it and had to post an unscheduled hiatus update because I was so angry to see my parallel petition's CSV data!

I WILL keep my promise though not to unlock the "sign" button and chip in until our scheduled reopening on Wednesday, August 12th and will not log into change.org until then. My reopening update will be my 60th official campaign update too, though I must admit that although I have reconfigured this campaign's scope settings, I am dreading downloading my CSV spreadsheets!
