Please forgive me for my recent behaviour, I was just frustrated when I found out the truth about my data on my CSV spreadsheet. I also was demanding you all to email local MPs out of frustration of the Easter cycle due to my autism and how it affects me.

I have had to make a very difficult decision but due to stagnant growth in recent weeks and a severe loss in momentum, I will be temporarily CLOSING the petition for new signatures for a week commencing on the date this current promotion finishes delivering views.

This is not a decision which I have taken lightly, but for the overall health and long-term success of the campaign, this petition needs to sleep and so that I am not bombarding the system with my paid promotion ads.

Change.org is a busy petition platform and I acknowledge and respect that there are currently many important campaigns that need to be advertised on the platform so must not be blocked by my own petition. Much like “bed blocking” in the UK and NHS hospitals, I have effecting been "blocking" other important petitions with my own paid promotions.

This petition has behaved like most petitions do, have an initial burst of energy then slow down and go stale after a while (much like a growth spurt during puberty) so will temporarily close the petition (much like iI temporarily close my other projects) to jump-start momentum again and a fresh start.

I have now renamed the petition “Fix Easter to March 22 in 2043/54/65 BEFORE WE DIE – we need signatures ALL YEAR ROUND!!!!” in order to convince more supporters to sign during times of the year where Easter is not relevant, like in July.

I am still aiming for my next intermediate goals of 485 then 500 signatures, but before I can do that this this petition needs a “fallow week” (much like Glastonbury’s fallow year), I need to put this petition to sleep to keep the momentum going in for the petition's long-term success.

You all (my supporters) were there and truly helped me when I needed it most (during the distress of the “wrong date”) Easter in April period and these last few months have just been the start of my long term mission, which certainly will not be possible without the existence of this petition so thank you all.

Much like society needs to grow up when it comes to recognising minority holidays, I NEED TO GROW UP and wisely use change.org, not abuse the system and be grateful I have supporters and a loving family.

My 24 international signatures have occurred evenly distributed throughout the campaign but most of them occurred before the “Alice date” (April 5th 2026).

Our campaign will be on holiday for exactly a week once this current promotion completes, but will update you all when we reopen for new signatures ill not post any new updates until the petition page reopens to new signatures. I will break my “gambling” addiction of promoting this campaign and will temporarily go cold turkey!
