I don’t have social media to share this campaign on international feeds – PLEASE HELP ME!

This is our 70th official update and tomorrow will mark the commencement of the official Phase Three, where I will unlock the page specifically some time between 5am and 8am and chip in just £1 to promote my campaign under the new current scope to see if anything happens, though if I get no new signatures I may temporarily revert my scope back to Local-London for just one chip-in instance only in order to make sure all my new organic signatures from Australia are fully protected, before the dreaded official start takes place, and to quickly get up to 551 signatures are we are only 17 short.

Given that there are no Orthodox holiday recognition campaigns until 795 (then 921) after clearing 551 then 569 signatures (see below), that is when the third phase of the campaign will be in full effect!

My CSV spreadsheets cause me SO MUCH ANXIETY because if I keep getting more signatures from the UK, the campaign will ultimately fail by design due to the platform’s unfair geofencing restrictions which I hate and has largely kept my beloved campaign with British borders!

We currently have a total of 28 signatures from overseas out of 534 signatures overall, both from targeted and random locations, our general international breakdown below is as follows:

• Australia and United States – 5 signatures each (a total of 10 from both countries combined) 
• Myanmar – 3 signatures
• 1 signature (or sole supporter) from random European countries such as Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Estonia and Serbia.
• 1 signature from other random far flung destinations which I later acquired (May 2026 onwards) like Mexico, Cameroon and the UAE.

Just 5% of our 534 total signatures have so far been secured internationally, with a whopping 95% originating entirely within the United Kingdom, so this next phase up until roughly 1,000 signatures is all goes to plan is to ‘lose weight’ and reduce the total percentage of UK domestic traction. Given that my last 3 signatures have come directly from my change.org email update about international traction by Australian users (as shown in the CSV spreadsheet image above), I urge all my subscribed overseas supporters to keep forwarding my change.org email updates to new users and NOT STOP doing it, because that also keeps momentum going without me having to chip-in. 

My lack of external social media accounts for sharing is my BIGGEST OBSTACLE, other change.org users can effortlessly reach milestones like 500 signatures for free within days and not have a second thought about it.

While it IS my fault I don’t have any social media account for sharing due to a desire to remain semi-anonymous and my family’s concern for my own safety as an autistic adult despite my age. I am unfairly penalised and subject to the awful geofencing restrictions and months of hard work just to reach certain milestones.

Our overall campaign timeline is as shown below:

• ·      100 signatures – 25th March
• ·      200 signatures – 13th April (Orthodox Easter Monday)
• ·      300 signatures – 9th May
• ·      400 signatures – 18th June
• ·      423 signatures at conclusion of Phase One –  2nd August
• ·      500 signatures – 3rd September
• ·      534 signatures at conclusion of Phase Two – 17th September

We are just 17 signatures short of our next immediate goal, of 551 signatures, and am hoping that most or all of the signatures that occur within that timeframe. Our next goal after 551 will be 569 signatures to overtake a petition titled “Save Christmas for all religions” created by a 13-year-old Orthodox student demanding Orthodox Christmas off school pointing out that very same double standard as to how Orthodox holidays are swept under the carpet, created in the Orthodox “campaign capital” of New York City. There are a few outliers, but the majority of these holiday recognition and other campaigns stall out precisely in the 250-500 signature range.

ALMOST ALL the Orthodox holiday recognition campaigns I have stumbled across on the platform originate in either New York City or Massachusetts, completely ignoring the fact that this recognition issue is not only a problem in the United States, it is a problem across the entire English-speaking world.

Despite roughly half a million Orthodox residents in the UK with a significant proportion in cities such as Glasgow, Birmingham and London, almost nobody here at home has used the platform to complain about the issue so this could indeed be the VERY FIRST BRITISH CAMPAIGN on the platform about Orthodox holiday recognition despite the campaign’s title!

Similarly, almost nobody in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa or the Republic of Ireland have created campaigns on the platform about this issue despite it being a BIG problem across ALL of these nations so I’m campaigning for them on their behalf, which is the entire secondary goal of this very campaign!

I found these two stagnant Orthodox holiday recognition campaigns from January 2026, and I want to chip in to promote them as they both have less than the 5 signatures needed to break the official visibility mark to appear in search results. As my spinoff meta-petition itself struggled to reach 5 signatures (though has grown to 116 signatures before being placed on a temporary hiatus to align with this campaign’s hiatus), I (“Mr. Easter”) will help these two creators and provide international support!

Many creators (like the ones who created the campaigns above) don’t bother to share or chip-in, and expect many people to find and sign the pages by chance, this is how campaigns stay stagnant immediately upon launch and how NOT to run a change.org campaign and effectively abandon them!

The United States is the only one of the “shameful seven” Western nations actively campaigning for Orthodox holiday recognition, and even those campaigns don’t address non-academic issues such as retail erasure in US shops, almost all of them only address employment annual leave issues and school absences so this could be the “King Campaign” of all Orthodox recognition campaigns, expanding on more issues than just school absences and annual leave! 

I believe I am the very first British change.org user to indirectly create a campaign about Orthodox holiday recognition (I say ‘indirectly’ because it’s the secondary goal of the campaign) and both the presence of the Greek Orthodox church in my local borough, plus the 2021 Glasgow Orthodox video, is evidence that these real people affected by this are living right under the UK and Scottish Government’s nose!

Although not Orthodox myself, my calendar date fixation has led directly to becoming an ally and advocating for the community in the “shameful seven” Western English-speaking countries, and if I never had my negative date fixation, I would never (probably) be the first person in Britain and outside the US creating a change.org campaign addressing Orthodox holiday recognition!

Despite our campaign hiatus with the ‘sign’ button completely disabled, we are still neck-and-neck with Emma Tucker’s bin strike petition, which is currently only receiving a new signature every few days (that very same petition surged ahead during out last campaign hiatus at 423 signatures). 

The other bin strike petition titled “The Prime Minister to Act in the Birmingham Bin Dispute” is now completely stuck at 441 signatures (exactly in the “danger zone” where a lot of petitions get stuck) and I, myself, have had to chip-in to help!

It was this time last year that I started my Christmas shopping on Amazon and bought all the Busy Bee books which I later converted into 2026 diaries showing March 22nd as Easter Sunday and my distress about seeing “Easter on the wrong date” started long before this campaign was launched!

I will post my next official campaign update if and when necessary, until then, I just have to see how it goes.
