Fireworks Don’t Belong This Close to Our Homes — Let’s Fix This Together

Fireworks Don’t Belong This Close to Our Homes — Let’s Fix This Together
The Issue
I’m writing not just as a resident of Remington, but as someone who’s seen how close calls and careless fireworks can put our homes, cars, and families at risk. We’re already dealing with high insurance costs — the last thing we need is more damage from something entirely preventable.
This petition is about pushing for safer fireworks regulations in our community. Whether that means stronger enforcement, clear restrictions, or stopping residential use altogether it’s time for change.
I’d be so grateful if you would add your name and share it with others:
Thank you for standing with me.

As a homeowner in Remington, I’ve seen firsthand the disruption and real danger that fireworks bring into our neighborhood. We all enjoy celebrating, but when that celebration leads to property damage, injury risk, and sleepless nights — it’s no longer just fun. It’s a serious safety issue.
Many of us are already paying high insurance rates on our homes, vehicles, and health. What comfort is that when someone’s careless firework cracks a windshield or sets off a fire? This isn’t just about cost — it’s about peace of mind, and our right to feel safe in our own homes.
Fireworks are being set off way too close to houses — often by people who don’t consider the effect on their neighbors, pets, or property. This needs to change. Whether through stricter enforcement, better safety rules, or ending residential use altogether, we need action.
Please stand with me. We deserve to feel safe in our neighborhood. Sign the petition to demand better fireworks regulations in Remington.
