Mr. Arredondo, Chief of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District, has proven himself  incompetent and undeserving of the Honor to wear the badge of a United States law man.

1. Mr. Arredondo is responsible for ordering officers to stand down and wait for over 1 hour while the Uvalde school shooter continued to kill children.
2. Mr. Arredondo falsely classified the situation as a hostage situation when several 911 calls by children inside the Uvalde school disproved this.
3. Mr. Arredondo also prevented other law enforcement units from entering the school and neutralizing the shooter during this time.
4. Mr. Arredondo has taken no responsibility for his mistakes, despite a mountain of evidence.
5. Mr. Arredondo has gone into hiding, citing fears for his safety. The 19 children and 2 teachers who lost their lives due to Mr. Arredondo's failure were depending on the police to provide them with the same safety which Mr. Arredondo holds so dear.

 Pete Arredondo should be removed from leadership of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police force. On May 24th, 2022, 21 innocent lives were lost because one man held back a continually growing group of heavily armed law enforcement personnel from various branches and departments. As the indecent commander, he is directly responsible for this decision. Justice must be served.
