JB Bickerstaff, head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, is spearheading the downfall of what was one of the league's most promising young teams. His inability to devise offensive schemes, implement effective rotations, call timely timeouts, draw up out of bounds plays or to implement a defense to guard three-point shooters in the modern NBA, has resulted in the gradual demise of the Cavs as a potential true competitor in the league.

To add to this, fans have seen a number of players regress under the tutelage of Bickerstaff. 

Bickerstaff's father, Bernie Bickerstaff, has been the long-time Head of Basketball Operations at the Cavaliers, leading fans to believe he will keep his job no matter how poorly the team does and slowly draining fans of any hope things will change. 

Cleveland has one of the most loyal fanbases in the NBA and American sport and hard earned money goes toward the organisation. Some fans currently feel they are funding a lost cause with Bickerstaff at the helm and that if the current trend continues the fanbase will eventually be left with a team which cannot compete.
