I am very passionate about this issue and will not be silent until Brian Kilmeade is terminated.

I was a litigation paralegal in Dallas for two decades. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and subsequently lupus at age 32. Early medical intervention allowed me to manage my disease and continue my career for almost a decade after diagnosis. Then the treatments stopped working and the diseases became more aggressive so that I lost my job in 2006 (age 41). Eventually, I lost everything I had worked for. My 401k was exhausted to cover COBRA insurance payments; I lost my home and my vehicle. I was facing homelessness. Thankfully, I was fortunate to have had good friends who were able and willing to provide me a room while I navigated the world of disability at age 44. I am now age 60 and still face housing insecurity due to increased rental costs across the nation. I am about to lose my current home and, so far, have not found a rental within my budget. My only source of income is social security disability benefits. Even though I receive higher benefits than most, the increased cost of housing and other costs of living exceed the benefits. I can not imagine how those without these benefits manage to survive. Homelessness is a serious issue that should be approached with compassion and real solutions. It is unacceptable to call for involuntary lethal injections and then to double down with "Just kill them." The only acceptable response is to fire Brian Kilmeade to send a clear message that these hateful comments will not be tolerated.
