The signstories to this petition has just touched 5258 now.It looks like majority bank pensioners are not interested to sign this petition on pension updation though legally they are eligible to get the same and the the highest court hounourable Supreme court has given verdict as far back as in June 2015 that pension ,updation and family pension are not gifts(bounty) but deferred wages and to be payable by the managements and not related to profitability..When such is the case I am not able to understand the hesitation for signing this petition.Offcourse some bank pensioners are planning to go to supreme court but it is a very long Proces  and it may take many years. Our retiree unions are also trying and the defiant IBA is not relenting in their attitude. As such to bring to the notice of finance ministry this petition is taken up. It is very easy and does not involve any costs to petitioner. So why not help the retiree unions by signing this pettion.It is now or never and if we miss we may not get it for another 5 years till next bipartite. So I have made my mind clear on this petition. So atleast now the bank pensioners support this petition by signing. Please come out from your feeling that only leaders have to fight. So please join this petition and show your unity.
