I am very much pleased to see that the signatories number reached 1140 now. I thank all bank pensioners who has signed so far and request them to help other bank pensioners who are not in a position to sign online for signing the petition. By doing that you are helping to increase the tempo of online signatures. This the right time to show our unity and strength to the new Finance minister. If we donot act now we will lose the opportunity of getting updation in our pension for the present and we may not get updation in our life time. In the last Bipartite our own working brothers unionsdidn't take our isuesvand signed record note in June 2015.In record note the IBa had recorded that we the retirees have no link to the banks. This time also one is not sure that retirees issues will be taken up. Hence we have to fight ourselves by submitting petitions as I have done now. I am hopeful that Madam Nirmala Seetharaman will see our issues with open mind and consider our legitimate updation to pension. Even the honourable Supreme Court has given the judgement that pension and updation from time to time is not a bounty but right which cannot be negatived for any reason such as no. Profit etc.( In DS Nakra case in 2015.) I am surprised that no union has taken up this judgement in our favour. So I once again plead with bank pensioners that in this now or never situation all have to put efforts towards achiving the goal. Wishing every one success. With regards. M Kamalakshsa kini
