The good news is that revised plans for this development are now available online - Application Number P/1492/20
The bad news is that there are only 18 days left before the end of lockdown which is not nearly enough time to read, let alone understand them!
It is hard not to come to the conclusion that the system has been developed to frustrate people and encourage them to give up as only a planning expert could understand what changes have been made, if any!
There are artists impressions of idyllic scenes from the allotments and West Harrow Station which I am very sceptical of. Developers are experts at putting the best possible gloss on their ugly, square, concrete tower blocks.
On his Facebook page, Gareth Thomas, our local MP, urges residents to write or comment online and give their views. Letters should be addressed to Planning Officer, Selina Hotwani, Planning and Building Control, Civic 1, Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2XY or submitting online on the Harrow Council Planning portal and searching for application Number P/1492/20
Notifications will be sent to local homes regarding another public consultation in June/July and notices will be posted in and around the area.
It would be wise to wait until after the public meeting before making any comment but this will be our last chance to fight against this proposal so please 'keep your powder dry' and look out for the notifications.
