Dear Petitioner/Supporter,

I have provided the following response to the NParks team (their email requesting us to await feedback till the end of Feb for the next steps on approval).

Dear Ms. Neo Hui Ying, 

I am sending this email to acknowledge your email (furnished below) dated "Jan 31, 2023, 1:59 PM" which was a response to my second last email dated "Jan 19, 2023 at 12:46 PM". 

1. We hope you can likewise acknowledge the points stated in the latest email below, dated "Jan 26, 2023 at 5:33 PM" (sent before your response and after our second last call).
2. We understand that Surin Park is undergoing some maintenance work that was due two years back. Hence, we sincerely hope the timeline you indicated won't change or anticipate some adherence to the quarters you provided. I like to further acknowledge you have provided a verbal indication (after my last email) that it is hard to conform to the month, the reason why the indication of the quarters you provided was included, and already stated in the email dated "Jan 26, 2023 at 5:33 PM".
3. We the petitioners at this point may not fully understand the nature of the reviews and studies that are ongoing by NParks, though we requested your time for discussions and provided some viewpoints indicated in my earlier email.
4. We hence seek your understanding likewise for the repeated clarifications as we still don't understand the justification/reason for the change in location or the number of times such observations were made to derive some of the conclusions NParks might be arriving at (we respect NParks views/approach).
5. We have indeed proposed an in-person meeting to clarify and ensure we understand each other appropriately, and that such a meeting could not happen for the reasons under point 3 in my earlier email, we shall await your guidance and feedback by the end of Feb for the next steps.

We sincerely hope one won't misunderstand, the nature of this viewpoint/request, and that this would be approved in Feb for this to come through it's completion by Jul/Aug or Q3 2023 as indicated by you. We certainly appreciate the NParks team's efforts and would be obliged for the fencing setup (the original request) - rest assured we shall certainly enjoy the park even better with our canine family member(s). 

"Dear Mr Kris, Thank you for your email of 19 Jan 23, and our phone conversation of 25 Jan 23, regarding the proposed dog run at Surin Avenue Neighbourhood Park (Surin Park). As shared, we are studying the feasibility of constructing the dog run within Surin Park. As our green spaces are meant for shared use, we are reviewing a suitable location within the park that would minimise disruption to other park users and residents and to balance the needs of all park visitors.We update you as soon as we can, likely by end Feb 23.  We seek your patience in this matter.
