Fence the horses, maintain the speed

The Issue

Logical things are logical:

  1. Free roaming horses are a danger to everyone and everything on a highway. This is negligent and dangerous. Force the owner of the Pemberton horses to fence his horses under the livestock act.
  2. Maintain the already slow speed limit of 80 km/hr. Slower drivers are more of a hazard on the highway. If you make the speed limit 50-60, people will do 30. That is ridiculous. If you can drive to Kamloops on a similar highway with driveways exiting onto it, at a speed of 100km/hr, there is absolutely no reason why the speed limit needs to be lowered between Pemberton and mount Currie.

Stop skirting the real issue here. Fence the horses. Maintain the speed. Affect one negligent livestock owner rather than inconveniencing hundreds of thousands without even solving the issue.
