Esk ResidentsEsk, Australia
Dec 24, 2022

Whilst it has been sometime since our last update, we, like many who are passionate about our precious native Flora and Fauna, continue to advocate for the change that would ensure greater Protections for our Environment and Wildlife.

The presence of our Endangered Koala and the Threatened Brush-tailed Rock Wallaby, Grey-headed Flying Fox and the Lloyd's Native Olive are confirmed over the Mount Glen Rock land parcels, with the Somerset Regional Council being fully aware of their presence.

Two of our local resident Koalas, Mo and Frankie, continue to be sighted and monitored.

With the new Government acknowledging that Australia's Environmental Protection laws are well outdated and therefore not sufficiently serving their purpose, we are hopeful that 2023 will bring some much-needed change.

Wherever you are in Australia and the world, we would like to wholeheartedly say a big 'Thank you', to all our supporters and followers, for their ongoing support throughout 2022.

Thank you to every one of you who has signed, shared, and continued to share our petition. Your interest and dedication have helped to bring greater awareness to our cause.

In whatever way you may acknowledge or celebrate this festive time of year, we wish you much joy and peace for a safe and happy Christmas holiday season.

2023 is already shaping up to be a busy and exciting year for our local Care4esK Conservation group...

May it truly be a Happy New Year !
