Thank you to everyone who visited our information stand at the recent Jimna Landcare Festival. It was a great day made possible by the Brisbane Valley Kilcoy Landcare Association. A big thanks also to the Friends of the Forest, for allowing us to share their stall.
We are all united in the belief and practice of Landcare.
Esk Residents enjoyed the opportunity to share some factual information about the proposed Mount Glen Rock Adventure Park, with many interested patrons.
The day was filled with informative stands, engaging presentations and wonderful live music.
Dr. Celine Frere reiterated the need for Governments on all levels, to acknowledge the fragmentation of Koala habitats, and for them to take the threat more seriously.
The situation is dire!
Our personal highlight of the day, was the wildlife education presentation by Martin Fingland, from Geckoes Wildlife.
As always, Martin wowed the crowd with his up close and personal presentation of his beloved native Fauna.
