Some new published research has shown Vitamin C levels in 17/18 (94%) of hospitalized COVID 19 patients with ARDS when tested, was "undetectable" (0 mg/L) according to researchers. This is a Vitamin C Deficiency. ZERO Vitamin C!

What is ARDS? Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome is a complication where patient has difficulty breathing due to inflammation and fluid building in lungs resulting from COVID infection. This complication has occurred in 71% of hospitalized COVID patients. ARDS can then progress to septic shock or sepsis.
So either the Vitamin C was deficient before infection or became deficient during the infection.
Dr. Weber also reported "very low" Vitamin C levels in the COVID patients he treated.
We personally believe that the Vitamin C levels were already very low before COVID infection due to inadequate consumption of Vitamin C containing foods and/or supplements and then drastically reduced to zero as the immune system consumes it, causing symptoms to become more severe, requiring hospitalization.
Some questions worth asking
Are Vitamin C levels routinely being measured in hospitalized COVID patients throughout the U.S. and other countries?
Should Vitamin C levels be routinely tested in all hospitalized COVID patients with and without ARDS?
If a hospitalized COVID patient tested for Vitamin C deficiency is actually diagnosed with Vitamin C deficiency, should the provider immediately administer IV Vitamin C?
When someone is newly diagnosed with COVID, should they take any vitamins at home given that Remdesivir, plasma, and other therapies would only available to hospitalized patients?
We are not discrediting the effectiveness of these therapies. Remdesivir is not available OTC and would be unaffordable even if it was.
Can consuming Vitamin C foods/supplements prevent COVID infection in healthy people?
Can consuming Vitamin C foods/supplements prevent COVID disease progression in newly diagnosed COVID patients?
Can administration of IV Vitamin C on Day 1 of hospital admission prevent sepsis and mortality rates?
When NIH expert, Dr. Fauci, recently advises taking 1-2 grams of Vitamin C and Vitamin D for "boosting immunity" against Coronavirus, would an FDA approval of intravenous vitamin C support or reject this idea?
Why is there no political discussions about national distribution of vitamins for boosting immunity against Coronavirus?
Are masks and social distancing the only things that can be done?
But most importantly, what role does a Vitamin C deficiency have in Coronavirus infections?
Does it cause the infection or does the infection cause the deficiency?
