Currently the Fayette Mall is planning to implement a youth escort policy forbidding all visitors under the age of 18 to enter the mall on Fridays and Saturdays after 4 pm without being escorted by a parent or guardian over the age of 21.  Fridays and Saturdays are both extremely populated days and due to parents working many teenagers can't get to the mall till after 4. For the Fayette Mall to base a ban entirely on the misconduct of a few young people is biased and discriminatory. As one of the largest groups to give money to the mall we should have the right to be treated like every other visitor which means gaining the same access hours as an adult. I'm encouraging every young person who this affects and is of importance to boycott the Fayette mall after the policy is implemented on March 20th. If they want our money we should be able to spend it when we want with or without a guardian.
