Parental Alienation is Child Abuse

The Issue

When a child gets up from bed every morning - he/she expects both Mom and Dad to be by his side. It starts off a happy day for the kid. In today's time - due to work loads - that always might not be possible to give our kids because of out stations and other challenges. However, the same is compensated once the family is back together ❤

The Problem : Now just think about those children - who, without their own fault - got into a situation - wherein the parents are separating. I am taking about kids from 5 years till he/she is a children, what kind of mental state they go through, the amount of unexpressive pain and confussion. To make things worse - we adults, due to our incompatibility, gift these kids with parental alienation. It's a form of activity, where one parent doesn't allow the other parent to meet or have a great time with the kid. Who is affected the most? The kid in that situation.

The Confusion : I live in a country, India- where the Lawmakers, the Human Rights Commission are numb on this issue , even with high growth of divorce cases everyday. The government does not pass a bill as this might not be affecting their vote share as in most of the cases it's women who alienates the child, being a mother and since women rights is a big emotional votebank in India. Hence, there has been an increase in the number of suicides by men and these disturbed kids growing to affect our society in the coming years.

The Solution : So, what's the solution? How can we make it fair enough for those kids - who are not at fault. We need the Indian Laws to go for shared parenting and clearly stop parental alienation- as this is as good as child abuse. We need to raise our voice against governments and law makers to act on this issue, even though this is not directly proportional to their vote share. We need to stand up as humans, I hope at least a baby's tears will help you do that.
