First the good news: One year and nearly 30.000 signatures after I started this petition, transfers for family reunification from Greece to Germany are mostly carried out in a more or less acceptable time frame. The bad news unfortunately is, that since Horst Seehofer has taken office in the German Interior Ministry a big part of reunification requests from Greece get rejected. The decision for this are often poor reasoned and sometimes just illegal. Unfortunately political fights are again fought on the back of the weakest: Vulnerable refugee families from war zones.
