Imagine sitting in your car at a gas station.  Guys run up to your car with guns and under the influence of PCP., alcohol, and several other substances.  In a rage, trying to pull a loved one out of the car?  What do you do?   You try to protect yourself, then YOU are turned into a defendant because you can not use self defense or stand your ground as a plea in court.   Why ....because you said you did not want to kill anyone.  How is this justice! Most people do not know that unless, you say you are trying to kill a person....YOU Can Not Plead Self Defense.  

How about ....I only wanted to scare a person.  Not kill them.  For this reason,....

We are starting a petition to bring Anthony E. Johnson home.    This petition is to our family and friends. We have been fighting this case since day 2008.   

Anthony was on his way to see a movie to go on a date.  

I will keep this short and simple. 

Anthony Johnson, was in his car getting gas when he, his cousin and one friend were attacked by a group of guys who were armed and on drugs! Including PCP!!!!  Anthony was  headed to see a movie with other females.  Simple teenage activity!   This case should have been a stand your ground case! Sadly, Race plays a big part in who can use this defense.  

Anthony did not know the attackers.  The main aggressor in court testified that him and his friends tried to pull Anthony's cousin out of the car to kill him.  The two had a high school love triangle that was not related to Anthony at all.  This same man later robbed someone and even shot a cop while trying to get away.  The attackers had PCP and other drugs in their system.  

Anthony only met with his attorney once before the trial. The attorney assumed this was an easy self-defense case and did not do much to prepare.   We later found out that the attorney we hired currently has been disbarred.   The judge in the case recursed.  The fake gang expert, arrested in falsifying evidence in another case!!!  Yes, to help sentence Anthony...They made up a fake gang territory fight between two gangs that did not exist. We were able to prove this, and yet, no action was taken against the prosecutors for this!  

Anthony pleaded self-defense; he was denied since he testified, he only wanted to scare the aggressors away by shooting at the ground.  Therefore, making the shooting an accident and denial of a self-defense plea. He was charged with Man slaughter and given a 20-year sentence.   Ask yourself, even in self-defense, as a person with good heart, you only want to defend yourself.  Not kill the person that is trying to kill you. Self-defense can result in accidently killing someone. However, in the matter of law, you must choose one or the other.   

Anthony was granted a new trial, however due to prosecutor misconduct, this was later denied. Why ???? Money!!!    Anthony, is now being traded on the stock market, to make the prison money like cattle. Prisoners are bonded and given a cusip number, which is pooled with all the other bonds and traded on the stock market under the name of the bonding warehouse (prison) where they keep the surety (person).  What they are doing is selling stock in the prison system by selling the prisoners’ accounts as securities through the securities exchange. They are making huge amounts of money off it. They privatize the prisoners’ accounts and bring all these investors in and what they are doing is underwriting all these prisoner’s accounts (bonds). This is after the surety company guarantees the bonds. Then they are underwritten through an investment bank or banker. Then they are put out on the market and resold to the public.

As most of my family and friends know this has been a long road.

From the age of two, Anthony loved music.  He was on the road to success when this tragedy occurred.  Preforming in Miami and New York. Working with several well-known artist with a passion of greatness!   It has been 12 long years and we are fighting to bring him home!   He has two daughters that love him very much!  Family and friends that miss his funny jokes and giving spirit.

From the actual video footage of the incident lost by prosecution, Fake gang file, Evidence destroyed or lost and denial of new trial when it was awarded.  Family member of the attackers, worked in our court room and was allowed to sit in during the entire trail while on taxpayers' money.
