My daughter, her husband, and their family are among the British nationals currently trapped in Gaza amidst the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas. Their situation is desperate - they are without water or electricity, there is constant bombing overhead, and no safe place to shelter.

The ongoing war has left many innocent civilians like them stranded in a life-threatening environment. 

We urge the UK government and international community to take immediate action. We request that arrangements be made for their safe exit from Gaza via the Rafah border crossing point - one of few potential exits from this war-torn region.
