The Issue
Dear American people,
I think we all can agree if 2020 has shown us anything through the tragedies we have been enduring is that are government has proven it is not here to help the people any longer. Now im not going to sit here and try to minimize the good our government has done but it is impossible to over look the bad. One good dead does not a saint make. These bread crumbs of good will thrown our way is a slap in the proverbial face of this countries beautiful people. While the people WE put in office, the people WE keep in office sit back and play games with the lively hood of american families, sitting at a comfortable distance, playing games. We the people, the POWER of this beautiful country suffer. While they play golf, we suffer. While they take vacations, we suffer. While they judge, commit unpunished crimes, get called out for all kinds of atrocities, we ARE suffering.
This is not the america we were raised to believe in. Not the america we stand and send our loved ones off to fight for, to die for. We were made to believe in place, an idea of a place, that simple does not exist any longer...but we can change that...we MUST change that. Were the government fails, we the people of america do not. We see what is wrong, we see who is in the wrong and we know how to change it and why it must change.
People in office used to stand for us. Used to fight for us. Now? Officials like Mitch McConnell do anything but that. This great country, filled with even greater, even BETTER people deserve a government that is going to strive to do good, to do better. A government that fights to be stronger, to be more. A government for the people, by the people.
If Mitch McConnell doesn't help this country stand stronger, if Mitch McConnell doesn't help this countries people (through a pandemic) then let Mitch McConnell help us stand on a unified foot against him, and officials like him. Its time to be the change we all want to see in this country. Lets take the scripted back and rewrite it for the better. This is my country, this is OUR country and if you're not with the people...well then, your against us.
