I am writing in regards to a very serious issue. This is a woman who is on Facebook, and Craigslist. Her name is Rachel Helen Fasnacht AKA Rachel Helen Peterson. The name might seem familiar because it is. Her, and her "husband" were recently arrested for animal abuse, neglect, and cruelty charges. But currently she is trolling Facebook, Craigslist, and even her neighbors for money, and baby items, and anything she can sell. She goes on Facebook swap sites with sob stories, and begging people for free baby items, items they're selling, and having people deliver these items to her. She has even created a GoFundme page for a fake hip surgery to get money. She also goes on Craigslist with sad stories for baby items, food, money, and anything she can get from people. She has scammed hundreds of people. She is also currently getting social services benefits under false pretenses. I run a group for people she has scammed on Facebook, and we have hundred or so members in 2 weeks its been up. That doesn't count everyone she has scammed just the ones willing to show proof. Several of us have tried to spread the word but with new swap groups always popping up, Craigslist being such a large site we just can't seem to stop her scamming people. I writing you because we need help in our goal of making the public aware. She has conned so many good hard working people out of food, baby items, money, and other items. She has also been trying to get more animals. She already was able to get some off of the animal swap sites. Which since some of the animals she abused had to be euthanized I don't this she is legally supposed to own any animals. My other members, and myself are at our wits end. We don't know what to do. everyday we have new people telling us how she lied to them. Shes taking items that others could really use who are in need. Plus as good people most were selling these items but after hearing her sob stories end up giving her the items for free. She lies about having kids, she lies about being pregnant, her husband being overseas in the military, her house burning down, being flooded, being fired for being pregnant, being laid off, and her latest scam is going into groups of grieving parents of still born, and re-born babies begging for items pretending to be one of them. It is just sickening. She has gone as far as helping people then demanding money from them.
