Too many young children are signing up to social media platforms and lying about their age. It is becoming too easy for underage children to experience inappropriate content online and be sexually exploited. Social media platforms need to make it a requirement to sign up with a proof of ID so under 18s cannot sign up.

Child exploitation is a real problem in the current times, with easy access to porn and social media sites, it is far too easy for underage boys and girls to send and receive content to and from older children/adults, that is far from appropriate for their age, including sexting and nude photographs.

Children under the age of 16 should not have to experience these things and lose their innocence too early in life.
